As far as rivalries go, Vevo and MTVMusic.com might not be on the same level as AT&T and Verizon, but the competition sure is heating up.

Recently released ComScore Media Matrix statistics revealed that MTVMusic.com surpassed Vevo as the most-visited music site on the Internet, a distinction that Vevo has held since February. According to the report, Vevo had 49 million unique visitors in August, while MTVMusic drew 53 million unique visitors to its site.
